Who are we?

Energy Solutions Group (formerly Patronale Solar) is one of the largest operators of renewable energy installations in the Benelux, and we are focused on expanding our market share in the Netherlands. As a small yet efficient organization, we aim to contribute to the energy transition with our straightforward style and practical approach. We employ a buy-and-hold strategy, in which we purchase solar and wind energy projects with the intention of operating them to achieve maximum value until the project end date. The majority shareholder of Energy Solutions Group is Patronale Life, a Branch 21 insurance provider, which forms the financial base for our expansion.

SAMco is responsible for the technical operations of our assets and also makes an active contribution to the development of new assets.

Job description 

  • You are responsible for the construction of renewable energy projects. Besides industrial wind turbine- and battery projects, the projects are mainly concerning commercial large scale solar projects (roof- and ground mounted).
  • Job activities include a.o. working on the technical development and design of the project. To determine the project costs, you will request quotations from various subcontractors and suppliers. During the project you will follow up these subcontractors and suppliers. You are also responsible for the project planning and the financial budget.
  • You analyze both existing and new projects to determine a project strategy together with your colleagues.
  • If necessary, you visit projects located in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • You are the first point of contact for various stakeholders such as grid operators, metering companies, suppliers, subcontractors, government services, etc.

Profile

  • You have a Technical Master’s degree or a Technical Bachelor’s degree with a several years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are a technical project leader experienced in engineering or a project engineer with proven project management skills.
  • You are very analytical and pragmatic.
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate with different stakeholders at different levels.
  • You are very stress-resistant and flexible.
  • You work very precisely and thoroughly
  • You are able to analyze cases from multiple perspectives and disciplines.
  • You are a team player who can also work independently and is not afraid to make decisions.
  • You preferably have experience with Autocad. Knowledge of specific software such as Pvsyst, PVsol, SynaptiQ, etc. is a plus.
