Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Structurer / Originator to join ESG's Technology team and strengthen our commercial and market-facing capabilities. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of structuring, origination, and portfolio risk management, where you will act as the central point of expertise linking market opportunities, contract structuring, and portfolio risk optimization. You will play a key role in shaping our route-to-market strategy, developing hedging frameworks, and structuring innovative energy contracts for a growing portfolio of renewable, flexibility and offtake assets.

In this role, you will structure and negotiate power contracts, including PPAs, CPPAs, FPAs and hybrid structures, while developing and executing hedging strategies that take both physical and financial instruments into account. You will originate and close commercial agreements with offtakers, corporates and other market counterparties, translating market opportunities into robust contract structures that support ESG’s broader portfolio objectives.

You will also define and implement a portfolio-wide risk management and hedging strategy, contribute to the development of portfolio risk dashboards and tools, and support the valuation of structured contracts using forward market insights. In close collaboration with the financial, trading and investment teams, you will act as a key interface across the organization and support internal stakeholders such as Development, Construction and Asset Management with relevant market insights. In addition, you will coordinate contract implementation and go-live processes, including interaction with optimizers and traders.
