About the position
The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT-related projects, with a secondary focus on corporate change initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors/consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Enswure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear and continuous communication.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that stakeholder needs are met as projects evolve.
- Corporate Change Projects:
- Define and manage the scope, goals, and deliverables of corporate change projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful adoption of changes across the organization.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of corporate change initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a primary focus on IT projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
