About the position & key responsibilities

Energy Solutions Group is in search of a proactive and driven Corporate Finance Analyst to join the team in our office in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, focusing on M&A (acquisitions) and Corporate Finance. This role is instrumental in supporting both acquisition and capital raising trajectories.

  • Play a key role in corporate finance, M&A (including valuation), and financial due diligence processes.
  • Dive deep into financial statements, market trends, industries, and other relevant data for comprehensive analysis.
  • Assisting with preparation and analysis of financial and valuation models.
  • Assisting with preparation of documents, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other mainstream analytics software.
  • Compiling and maintaining electronic data rooms.
  • Manage and update transactional and marketing databases.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive market and industry research databases.
  • Offer consistent support to the company’s management team as needed.

Skills and qualifications

  • Have a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience in corporate finance, possibly paired with a technical, fiscal or legal background.
  • Preferably have at least two years of professional exposure in the financial services or consulting industries.
  • Exhibit exceptional writing skills and full proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite along with electronic research methodologies.
  • Show a keen interest in technology and analytics, including familiarity with data processing, analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, precise attention to detail, robust financial expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to undertake travel, manage demanding work situations, operate independently, meet stringent deadlines, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Display a strong commitment to advancing in the green energy sector, aligning with the company's vision as a leader in this field.

  • Flexible working hours. You will be working on-site in Amstelveen ( Stroombaan 10, near Stadhart shopping center) for at least 3 days per week.
